Pembroke rides Keating to victory over Kanata, 2-1

Sean Keating stood on his head and made 32 saves to lead the Pembroke Lumber Kings to a 2-1 victory over the Kanata Stallions.
Pembroke was sparked by Keegan Harper, who grabbed one goal. Harper scored on the power play 14:56 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Pembroke. The Lumber Kings had gotten the advantage when Kanata's Nic LaBurn was sent off for unsportsmanlike conduct. Dylan Staples assisted on the tally.
Pembroke stifled the Stallions' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.
Kanata was held below its usual level of production. The Stallions put an average of 3.7 pucks into the net per game. Kanata's offense rang up 33 shots on the Lumber Kings' net.
The Stallions were led by JP Langlois, who scored the team's only goal. Langlois scored short handed 11:02 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Kanata found itself down a man on Kasey Kulczycki's goalie interference. Braedan Moffatt picked up the assist.
